Does buying an edition grant early access?
The official edition list describes game content and extras. It does not establish a separate early-play entitlement. Do not purchase an upgraded edition solely to play sooner unless its current checkout page explicitly includes that benefit.
Three different products
- Demo: a limited sample, with its own save-transfer conditions.
- Preorder: a purchase before release; early play is not automatic.
- Early Access: a specific access arrangement that must be stated by the publisher or store.
What to check before paying
Look for an exact unlock time, eligible edition and supported platform. Save the relevant order information. A creator receiving review access does not mean the public receives the same access.
The published launch has already occurred. For a first look, the official demo is the clearer starting point; check the demo guide before assuming progress transfers across platforms.
